Mansion Two
Office Block Two
Two at once
In February Allanwater Developments launched two applications in parallel.   These were recycled versions of applications that had been unsuccessful before.   To see the details, visit Mansion Two and Office Block Two.   We urged all supporters to write to the Council to object to these applications, which Councillor Mark Ruskell called a "vexatious waste of Council time."   In June the applications were rejected by Stirling Council.   In September Allanwater asked for the rejections to be formally reviewed by the Council: these reviews are to be conducted in 2017.
Events
In May we were at the Fling by the River.   The sun shone; our marquee was visited by friends old and new.   In October we held our Spooky Fun event, and many well-dressed spooks attended and nerved themselves for the Spooky Walk on the hill.   And during the year Libby Hughes, our Core Path inspector, reported to Stirling Council on the condition of the path over the hill.
