Land Reform

Caroline Crawford and Steve Mason were invited speakers at a Land Reform conference organised by Community Woodlands Association.   It was clear that Holmehill's bruising experiences with the current legislation has influenced the whole debate in Scotland, with subsequent applicants getting a better deal.

Fund-raising

We held another successful fund-raising concert, a Jazz & Blues Nite, in the Victoria Hall, featuring our very own David Topliff.   We produced Holmehill Christmas cards for sale at Christmas: like last year's calendar, these sold well.

Events

A very popular Dawn Chorus Walk was held on the hill in May, led by local ornithologists, and followed by breakfast in the Braeport Centre.   We were represented at the Fling by the River, and repeated the Family Funday in the Braeport Centre.
