The Scottish Clarinet Choir is coming to the Cathedral on Sunday October 4^th to add to the Arts Guild’s 50th anniversary celebrations with arrangements of well-known works as well as a new piece that we have commissioned for this unique and outstanding ensemble.

Among their players they include several composers who, with their inside knowledge of clarinets of all sizes, arrange works and compose new pieces, so at this concert we will be treated to the world première of ‘The Dunblane Suite’.

It’s tuneful and approachable, and describes aspects of Dunblane’s history.

If you haven’t heard a clarinet choir (getting on for 40 clarinets from small/high to enormous/very low) – and a clarinet choir is rare – it’s an amazing sound and fantastic in the Cathedral’s acoustic. An experience not to be missed!

The concert starts at 3pm and will be by donation.
