#OnThisDay 1314, first day of Battle of Bannockburn, Dunblane Cathedral Precentor, Maurice, was chaplain to Scottish soldiers under Robert the Bruce, giving encouragement to soldiers before battle. He became Bishop of Dunblane Cathedral & commemorated in stained glass window
