Christian Aid Week commences with an ecumenical service to which all are welcome. The service is in St Blane’s church on Sunday 10th May at 6.30pm. The guest speaker will be Fiona Smith, of Christian Aid Scotland.

#OnThisDay 1840 the Penny Black postage stamp became valid for use in the UK. After the 2012 Olympic Games a stamp was issued to mark Dunblane’s Andy Murray Olympic Gold Medal win. Dunblane Museum has displays celebrating the sporting achievements of Jamie Murray and Andy Murray
