Matthew McKinney is no stranger to Dunblane and his performances here richly deserve the praise expressed by audiences over the years, from his solos for the Church during his time in the Choir to his most recent concert for the Three Rivers Festival. Matthew embraced with enthusiasm the concert opportunities the Arts Guild offered when he was a student and we have followed his development as a singer with admiration, taking vicarious pride in his success as winner of the Kathleen Ferrier Prize in 2024. We are delighted to welcome him back and look forward to another excellent concert, this time with his regular collaborator, pianist Roelof Temmingh.
