Dunblane Cathedral Arts Guild presents ‘Women in Song’ with Hanna Hipp, a Polish lyric mezzo soprano, accompanied by Neapolitan pianist Emma Abbate. Both artists tour internationally, Hanna in opera and Emma as soloist and chamber musician.

They are performing songs by and about women. The programme celebrates women composers, who in this recital outnumber the men: Clara Schumann’s songs stand alongside her husband’s; Amy Beach, Madeleine Dring and Pauline Viardot are represented too.
