Roadworks A9 South from 6 to 18 August

Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the North East Network
Management Contract, are proposing an essential carriageway maintenance
scheme on the A9 at Dunblane (Southbound only) between the A820 Doune
Road and B8033 junctions.

The works will involve resurfacing approximately 1,120m length of the A9
(SB), please see attached location plan for reference.

Traffic management will include lane restrictions and a convoy system.

Works are due to be undertaken on the southbound carriageway between
Thursday 6th August and Tuesday 18th August as follows:

* Thursday 6th August: 7.30pm to 6.30am – overnight single lane
restriction for preparatory works.

* Sunday 9th August to Tuesday 18th August: 7.30pm to 6.30am –
overnight convoy system for resurfacing work

* A daytime lane restriction will be maintained between 6.30am and 7.30pm
on Tuesday 11th August to allow for material cooling.

Temporary Traffic Management is programmed to be removed by 6.30am on
Tuesday 18th August.

Please note that no works will take place on Friday or Saturday evenings
within these periods.

We would appreciate your feedback at this stage to help inform the
arrangements and ensure we address any specific local needs.

We intend to issue further wider communications nearer the time with
confirmed information of the work timings and traffic management that
will be in place. This will include a press release, social media and
website page to reach as wide an audience as possible.

Please note, the work dates and traffic management details are subject
to change.

All schemes are also weather dependent and may be cancelled, rescheduled
or extended if weather conditions are not favourable.

Thanks,

Graham
