Stirling Council has launched a new online portal for residents to access waste and recycling services in a more convenient and simpler way. The new portal, developed in partnership with Routeware, brings together a range of useful tools and information in one place, helping residents stay informed and make the most of their waste and recycling services. When visiting the online portal, residents will be able to: Access bin collection dates Find out where to put waste and recycling items using the Waste Wizard search tool Receive the latest collection information, including notifications about garden waste permit renewals and service disruptions Play an interactive recycling game, ‘Sort It Stirling’ and challenge yourself, family and friends while learning more about waste and recycling.

Stirling Council Environment, Transport and Net Zero Committee Convener, Cllr Alasdair Tollemache said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for residents to recycle more of their waste and the launch of this new online portal supports us achieving this key council priority. “The portal brings together recycling advice, waste collection information and useful resources in one convenient digital place. It will help enable residents to make the most of their waste and recycling services and to be kept updated on things like household bins collection dates. They can also test their knowledge and learn more about recycling via a fun, interactive game.“Improving the customer experience and reducing barriers through this digital tool will support our efforts to encourage better recycling rates, reduce contamination and costs, and deliver a cleaner, greener Stirling for everyone.
