Holmehill Community Buyout

A snowy Holmehill in March 1958.   This RAF photograph was taken looking south.   The Perth Road leads southwards from the bottom-left corner of the image, then swings to the left and out of the picture, while Smithy Loan continues the line of Perth Road: at that point is Holmehill's gatehouse.   In the foreground is a line of trees marking the current northern border of Holmehill.   The mansion is in the middle of the picture, framed by an arc of tall conifers.
