This is a great opportunity for community groups (including Community Councils) to find out more about Wee Grants for Wee Groups and maximise their chances of a successful application. Places are limited, so don’t delay. Please note this workshop is not open to registered charities, though registered charities are eligible to apply to Wee Grants for Wee Groups.
The Robertson Trust is looking for ten constituted community groups to join them in Stirling for a free Wee Grants for Wee Groups ‘Making an Application’ workshop.
The event will take place on Tuesday 5 November at the Barracks Conference Centre from 10 am – 12 pm and offers two representatives from each group the opportunity to work with Funding Officers on writing an application for an award of between £500-£2000.
Although the fund is also open to registered charities this particular workshop is only for constituted community groups and they ask that you familiarise yourself with their eligibility guidance before getting in touch.
You can request a place at the workshop by contacting them (maximum two per organisation). Spaces are limited and a member of their Giving Team will be in touch to confirm availability.

The evenings most prestigious award was the Inspire Volunteering Award 2019
The award was presented to Dunblane’s Braeport Memory Café
The weekly café offers invaluable support to people with dementia and their carers, providing activities and an opportunity to relax and socialise. School children from the local primary school regularly pop along to help participants use iPads and often stay for a sing along.
Volunteer Breda Seaman said: “I am completely overwhelmed, but I would like to say that small acts of kindness make a huge difference to the most vulnerable members of society. Just getting a group of willing volunteers together to have fun at a memory café enriches all our lives.”
